The Archives: San Francisco ’00-’01-“Mamma Mia!”

Stereotypical, but still a gorgeous shot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

June and I were off to Muir Woods when we crossed the bridge. We pulled off to a viewpoint and got some great pictures.

Christmas in San Francisco. The Christmas tree at Fisherman’s Wharf.

I moved to a higher apartment between Christmas and New Year’s. I could see the New Year’s fireworks over the building from my deck. Me, a bottle of champagne, and fireworks. I live such an exciting life!

The opening night party in San Francisco for the US premier of the show and some of the roadies all dolled up.

L-R: Tim (Flyman), Scott (Electrician-Strand Console), Jean (Electrician-Moving Lights), and little old me (Electrician-Spot Light)

Muir Woods and California Redwoods. It reminded me so much of the rain forests back home in Washington.

Christmas in the Spotlight Booth (OK, actually our last show before Christmas on Dec. 23rd.

I took this the same day as the upper picture of the fog. June with the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city of San Francisco behind her.

June and I at the infamous Tonga Room at the Fairmont hotel. One of the best Tiki bars I’d ever been to.

June (she came to visit for a bit, can you tell?) and I on top of “Twin Towers” south of downtown San Francisco. The black line to my right is Market Street, with the rest of downtown behind us.

I changed apartments half way through my stay in SF, thanks to our assistant prop man, who moved out of his.
I went from the 4th floor with a view of the street, to the 18th floor with a GREAT view of the city and a deck.
Here's a panorama at twilight I took from the new room. Man, I owe him.
