The Archives: Minneapolis

Actually, I don’t quite remember if these were the actual pictures I used for the Minneapolis update or not, but they’re a good representation.

The skyline of Minneapolis, taken from just north of the river, outside a great little movie palace.

One of the many antiques housed in the basement of the Orpheum Theatre. A Genarco spotlight.

Santa’s float from the Holidazzle parade. Held about 5 nights a week for the 3 weeks preceding Christmas, if I remember right. Everything is done in lights. Very cool. Very cold!

The Minnesota Vikings vs. NY Giants in Minneapolis. Easy walk from the hotel.

This was the pre-game and the flag from the World Trade Center towers.

The Sculpture Garden in about the only real snow we had there.

I liked this picture so much, I used it for my Christmas cards.

Good friends Renee and Dave. I met Renee back when she was the frontlight op for Les Miz III. They live north of town a ways and were kind enough to invite me up for Thanksgiving.

Thanks!

The Spam Museum!!!!!

An hour’s drive from Minneapolis in Austin (yes, Austin), MN. More Spam, Spam history and paraphernalia than you could ever imagine.

The Spam gang: Scott Tucker

(MM Board Op), Myself and Vince Goga (MM Head Elec.).

SNOW! I saw very little of it in our winter swing to be honest. Still, I sort of like it and missed it.
