Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. I thought it was great that he actually put his nose in the cement! |
June and I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo one day. The keeper was exercising the elephants. This one kept lifting his back foot to get a little extra leverage to move the rock. |
Baby Cheetah in the nursery at the San Diego Zoo. Yes, the San Diego Zoo is everything you’ve ever heard about. It was great. |

We were offered a VIP tour of the San Diego Zoo. This is me feeding a red tree kangaroo a hyacinth blossom. He was quite the cutie. |
June and I at the San Diego Zoo. June came out for a bit while I was in LA. Note June’s styling pith helmet (actually quite practical) and my pink complexion. Lobster Boy! |
June’s turn at feeding the tree kangaroo. |

Back at the Santa Barbara Zoo in the Lorikeet aviary. We’re not big bird people, but decided to check it out. It really was quite fun. They were all over us. |
This guy fell in love with my Celtic knot hair band. He would NOT let go. We finally had to get the keeper to get him off. All those birds and we came out unscathed, if you know what I mean. |
June, on the autopia at Disneyland. I just appen to like this picture a lot. |
